Our Optical Center Punch is ideal for precise drilling and marking.
When you need to be 100% certain of drilling in the correct spot, the optical punch allows you to mark a tiny dimple at its marked center point. This gives you an easy to see and set target for your drill bit.
The magnified cross-hair offers easier viewing and confidence when locating the center punch. The viewing lens has sharp, fine crosshairs that are easy to see when zeroing in on the center point.
Easy as 1 - 2 - 3 to use.
- Place the 9x magnified lens inside the aluminum base and set the base over your layout marks.
- When layout marks are located, hold the base in position, remove the viewing lens and replace it with the tempered-steel center punch.
- Give the punch a tap and rest assured the dimple will land right on your target.
Details:
- Interchangeable viewing lens and center punch ensure precise registration of dimple over the marked center point of a hole to be drilled
- Lens provides fine crosshairs and 9x magnification for crisp, un-distorted viewing
- Easy-to-grip, contoured base. Aluminum base is 1.3” in diameter at bottom and 1.2” tall.
- Rubber gasket under base prevents it from shifting when held in place
- Durable tempered-steel center punch is .38” in diameter x 1.9” long with a 40 degree angled precision-machined tip.
