Originally designed by Alleima (formerly Sandvik) at the request of Kershaw Knives to make a steel more resistant to corrosion. 14C28N is ideal for knives that demand edge sharpness, edge stability and corrosion resistance such as chef’s knives, pocket knives, hunting, and fishing knives.
Good edge retention. Corrosion resistant. Wear Resistant. Easy to Sharpen.
Recommended hardness range of 55-62 HRC
