Product Specification
CPM 3V Tool Steel offers high toughness and wear-resistance. It is made to provide maximum resistance to breakage and chipping. This tool steel offers greater impact resistance than D2 or A2. The aim for hardness is 58/60 Rc. Use CPM 3V steel for industrial knives, shear blades, blanking tools, punches and dies, and other applications that require a wear-resistant, tough steel.
Choose the right size for your knifemaking project from thicknesses of 5/32”, 3/16”, and 1/4"; widths of 1-1/2", 2”, and 4”; and lengths of 18” or 36”.
