Product Specification

GTC stainless steel bearings can be used in a pivot on folding knives to allow them to open and close more smoothly. Caged in stainless steel retainers patented by Gustavo T. Cecchini's GTC Knives, these bearings reduce friction and failures, increase opening time, and make the knife easier to clean. You can install the bearing by cutting a pocket with a counterbore in both the blade and frame of the knife. There should be one bearing in the blade and one in the frame for the best results. However, if the knife blade has already been hardened, you may also cut the pocket in both frames and not in the blade.

These bearings are sold individually. Features include:

  • Made of 100% stainless steel
  • Outer diameter: .415”
  • Inner diameter: .255”
  • Ball: .062”
  • Size: #3 Large
