Product Specification

Designed and manufactured by Jeff Davidson, this Spring Fuller is a must have for any forge.

The Spring Fuller allows a single craftsperson to work hands-free while performing several essentials to knifemaking.

Create a fuller groove to reduce the blade's weight without significantly compromising the strength of your long blade or sword.
Shape the tang by forging the "shoulders" of the blade where it transitions into the handle tang. This isolates material allowing the maker to spread material outward and define the blade's shape.
Draw out your metal with greater speed and efficiency than a regular hammer and anvil set up. Perfect for elongating blades from shorter pieces of steel.

Set up for a 1" hardy hole. Please note: all anvils are different so you may need to make small modifications to the square stock to fit your anvil.

Steel must be "good and hot" orange / yellow range.

Custom sizes available upon request.
