    This dual sided Japanese Water Stone is the ideal planer to get an all around edge and polish in one place.

    Using only water to lubricate, choose 1,000 grit or the 6,000 grit side to achieve a faster edge or polish and hone to a mirror finish without the need for stopping or polishing compounds.

    This stone will leave a surgically sharp edge on your tools.  The water creates an abrasive slurry on top of the waterstone and leave an extremely sharp edge on knives and chisels.
