Jantz Hardened File Guide

Made in the USA.

Keep your knife blade, guard or other material in place as you work with a hardened file guide. This tool is useful for maintaining level edges and symmetry on plunge and grind lines.

Our file guide is precision machine ground from A-2 tool steel and hardened to 62RHc for long wear.

Bottom piece is dual drilled to allow user to work with narrow and wider pieces. For wider opening bolt into drilled only side. For smaller opening, bolt into countersunk drilled holes.

Holds blade firmly in place while using. Uses include:

Squaring off the shoulders of your hidden tang blade

Grinding nice and even plunge lines

Setting and grinding bevel lines that are consistent and symmetrical

Complex file work

Filing slots for guards

Hand sanding
