Katalox Wood Scales

Katalox (Swartzi cubensis), is a dark reddish brown to nearly black and can feature a strong purple hue.
Grain is usually straight, but can also be irregular or interlocked.
Katalox has a fine, even texture and a good natural luster. Naturally oily.
Available in standard and curly grades
Use this wood for knife handles or other knife making projects.
Scales measure: 3/8" x 1-1/2" x 5" long and are sold in sets of 2.
