    Product Specification

    Damascus billets make for strong knife blades with excellent etching qualities. These blades last for a long time and stay sharp, plus their unique designs make them eye-catching.

    The forge welding process used to create these damascus billets starts out with a mixture of 13 layers that include 5160, 15N20, and nickel 200 alloys. Then it's folded 5 times to produce a high contrast 416 layer damascus billet.

    To etch your blade, use ferric chloride acid (BS110).

    All billets are 3” by 12+” with your choice of thickness. Sizes are approximate.
