Product Specification
Blanchard ground stainless steel, also known as CPM 154, are steel bars or steel stock made from powdered metal. It has a high Rockwell hardness (aim is 58/60) and holds a strong, sharp edge. It has very good wear-resistance and corrosion resistance. Blanchard steel polishes to a mirror finish for a shiny blade. Choose the right size for your knifemaking project from thicknesses of 1/8", 5/32”, 3/16”, 3/32”, and 1/4"; widths of 1”, 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 2”, and 4”; and lengths of 18” or 36”.
